Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)
- Technician Apprentice: Requires a 3-year Diploma in Engineering with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
- Trade Apprentice: Passed Class 10 and completed a 2-year ITI course in the related field.
- Graduate Apprentice: Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
- Data Entry Operator: Class 12 pass (with or without additional certification in Data Entry Operations).
Age Limit (as of 28.02.2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 24 Years
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST (5 Years), OBC (3 Years), PwBD (10 Years)
Stipend Details (Salary during Training)
- Graduate Apprentices: Rs. 4500 by BOAT + Additional by IOCL
- Technician Apprentices: Rs. 4000 by BOAT + Additional by IOCL
- Trade Apprentices: Full stipend paid by IOCL
Selection Process
- Candidates will be selected based on their marks in the required qualification.
- If two candidates have the same score, the older candidate will be chosen.
- If birth dates are also the same, the candidate with higher marks in Class 10 will be selected.
Training Period and Benefits
- The training period will last for 12 months.
- After completing the training, IOCL is not required to offer a permanent job.
